All FMG turbine meters comply with international measurement standards and are approved for fiscal metering—even with minimal installation straight-run requirements. This reduces piping costs and simplifies installation in space-constrained locations.
The heart of every FMG turbine meter is Flocaltec’s exchangeable cartridge flow sensor with built-in multistage flow conditioning. This patented design enables installation with significantly reduced straight inlet and outlet sections compared to conventional turbine meters—all while maintaining custody transfer accuracy per international perturbation testing standards.
The cartridge can be pre-calibrated under both low-pressure and high-pressure conditions, then quickly exchanged on-site for calibration or maintenance without removing the meter body. The cartridge is supported by O-rings and mechanically isolated from the meter housing, eliminating external stress influences that could affect measurement accuracy.
